BIG CREEK SURGERY CENTER CENTRAL STERILE SUPPLY TECHNICIAN I

Big Creek Surgery Center of Southwest General is a freestanding, state-of-the-art, outpatient surgical facility. They have 4 main OR’s and 2 procedure rooms, offering orthopedic, plastics, ENT, podiatry, pediatric dental, and pain block procedures.

The ambulatory surgery center is the ideal setting to consider if you desire to transition from bedside nursing.  Family friendly hours, Monday through Friday, no weekends, nights, or call. 

HOURS:
PRN, varied hours as needed. No weekends or holidays. 
 

POSITION SUMMARY:
The CS Technician I performs processing activities following prescribed illustrated work instructions. The acceptability of work is verified using prescribed indicators and is accomplished by (1) direct observation and inspection of final product or (2) process outcome guidance is provided by the Lead Technician or Technician II
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
High school diploma or GED required.

Required length of experience:
One (1) year of central supply experience with expertise in OR instrument set processing and surgical case carts strongly preferred.
