PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE COORDINATOR

HOURS:
Half-time, benefit eligible day shifts, flex. 40 hours BIWEEKLY. 

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Professional Practice Coordinator leads and coordinates activities related to shared governance, professional practice, and the organization’s journey to Pathways to Excellence (P2E) designation.  Provides leadership to the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of shared governance, professional practice, and P2E initiatives.  Is well versed in all P2E Practice Standards and acts as a resource and liaison between nursing leadership and others to facilitate organizational readiness.  Coaches and mentors organizational staff in the understanding of professional practice, shared governance, and application of P2E Practice Standards.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
BSN required, Master’s degree preferred.  

Required length of experience:
Planning and organizational skills
Experience leading teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in communication to all levels of staff
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Required licensure, certification, and/or registry:
Current RN  license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
