HVAC MECHANIC

HOURS:
Full-time, 2nd shift. 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday through Friday. 
 

POSITION SUMMARY:
The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for insuring a healthy, comfortable environment and maintaining indoor air quality standards per American Society of Healthcare Engineers Standards. Also responsible for maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, and controls to insure such standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Building Engineer certificate or Associates degree in Environmental technology from the Westside Institute of Technology or equivalent education.

Required length of experience:
2-3 years’ experience as either a HVAC Mechanic or Boiler Operator preferred.
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems required.
Must be able to read blueprints and mechanical schematics.
General knowledge of Building Automation System preferred.

Required licensure, certification or registry:
Valid 3^rd class Stationary Engineers license from the State of Ohio required.
