• POSITION INFORMATION
  • Position summary:
    • The Access to Care rep position provides exceptional customer service to customers who are calling to schedule, cancel and confirm appointments across the Southwest General Medical Group offices in a fast paced call center environment. This position also pre registers and verifies insurance coverage. The position is heavily oriented towards public contact in term of telephone interactions with patients, family member, providers and other SGMG staff. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent and proficient in medical terminology.
  • 
    Required length and type of experience:
    • 1-2 years in an outpatient physician office setting. Should include typing a minimum of 35 wpm and basic knowledge of computers. Strong organizational and communication skills on the telephone are required.
