LIFEGUARD

Summary

• Hours:
  • Half time (benefit eligible part time), 2nd shift. 1:15PM-6:15PM Monday through Friday. 40 hours BIWEEKLY.

• Position summary:
  • Lifeguards are responsible for the supervision of the Therapy Pool and the Lap Pool and chemical testing of Therapy Pool, Lap Pool, Hot Tubs and Flume. Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all pool patrons, reporting incidents and general cleaning of the pool area.

• Education:
  • This job requires a lifeguarding certification from a nationally recognized organization. Water Safety Instructor knowledge is also preferred, but not required.
• 
  Required length and type of experience:
  • Experience preferred, not required.
• 
  Required licensure, certification or registry:
  • CPR, First Aid & Safety and Lifeguard Certification required. WSI Certification preferred
