We are currently seeking a motivated, experienced, Clinical Manager to lead our Critical Care team at Southwest General.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:


The Clinical Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the clinical/business and support services for Critical Care. The Clinical Manager is responsible for the development, coordination, and monitoring of activities that promote clinically effective and efficient patient care.  Responsible for the planning, organization, and direction of patient care activities in their department/unit(s). Demonstrates leadership competencies and values through the development and coaching of direct reports. Promotes succession planning. Monitors employee retention, recruitment, and satisfaction. Consults and collaborates with other healthcare team members to provide safe appropriate patient care.  Ensures a culture of accountability.  Demonstrates the ability to problem solve. Leads by vision.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.  Bachelor's degree.

 

Required Length and Type of Experience: Five (5) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting with three (3) years of successful experience in a leadership position.
 

Required Licensure, Certification, or Registry: Current Ohio RN license.  Current CPR certification.
 

Special Qualifications:  Demonstrates effective problem-solving/decision-making abilities.  Demonstrates the ability to plan and prioritize with excellent time management skills.  Performs with initiative and innovation.  Knowledge of practice requirements for RN and LPN as mandated by the Nurse Practice Act. Knowledge of regulatory and governing bodies standards.
