MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR/GROUP LEADER – OAKVIEW OUTPATIENT

Our Oakview Behavioral Health Services are located in Middleburg Heights, OH. We focus on successful outcomes and the development of self-awareness, self-acceptance and personal responsibility. Services we provide include: Assessment Services, Addiction Services, and Mental Health Services. These services are provided by certified health care professionals who are trained to address the mental and physical challenges of behavioral disorders. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to guiding each and every patient down the road to recovery. 

HOURS: FULL-TIME, 72 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD (3 – 12-HOUR SHIFTS PER WEEK), SCHEDULE WOULD CONSIST OF MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY. NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS.
 

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for coordination and supervision of the care for all mental health PHP/IOP patients per physician orders and in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Masters’ Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related fields.

Required length of experience:
One to two years experience in a mental health treatment setting with experience in facilitating group therapies and individual counseling is preferred.

Required licensure, certification, and/or registry:
Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor.
