We all have a “why” or a story behind our career path. Why we chose our designated field of work. Why we picked our place of employment. And, why we choose to stay. For many of us at Southwest General, our “why” seems to be the same—not only do we love the work we do and the mission we represent but also we genuinely love the people we work with. For some, they aren’t just colleagues, they’re family!

Catherine, Cat Scan Technologist at Southwest, recently shared her “Why:” "#MyWhy is my family. My parents have come to Southwest for 50 years. Over the past 19 years, I’ve been at Southwest and I’ve made the closest friends I have. They have become as close as family to me. Being in the military gave me the principles of loyalty and duty. Through good times and bad, I am loyal to Southwest because it’s where my family is."
