FITNESS INSTRUCTOR AT LIFEWORKS OF SOUTHWEST GENERAL

HOURS:
Part-time, evenings and weekends. 20 hours BIWEEKLY. 

POSITION SUMMARY:
Fitness Instructors provide professional customer service to members by conducting screenings, fitness assessments, exercise prescriptions and more while proactively circulating the fitness floor. Keeping a clean, safe environment is also a priority of the Fitness Instructors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Requires completion or enrollment in a bachelors degree program for exercise physiology or related field.   

Required length of experience:
While this position does not require on the job experience, a competent knowledge of exercise principles, fitness testing, health risk and fitness program design is essential to success.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, computer and organizational skills are also required.

Required licensure, certification, and/or registry:
CPR certification required.
Personal training certification with one of the following agencies is required: ACE, NSCA, NATA, NASM, AFAA, ISSA, IFPA, NCSF, NFPT, ACSM
