• POSITION INFORMATION
  • Position summary:
    • The Physician Assistant Certified II assists in all surgical specialties under the direction of the supervising physician. The PA-C II must be knowledgeable in surgical anatomy and physiology, operative technique relative to surgical procedure and principals of asepsis and infection control. He/she must maintain clinical competence in post procedure assessment and follow-up, and provide post-op and follow up notes in the EMR that are concise, accurate, and allow for optimal characterization of all comorbid conditions and optimal reimbursement.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education:
    • Graduate with at least an Associate Degree of Science in PA program from accredited program and be registered in the State of Ohio, Medical Board.
  • 
    Required length and type of experience:
    • One (1) year experience preferred as a Physician Assistant - Certified.
  • 
    Required licensure, certification or registry:
    • Physician Assistant - Certified; Registered with the State Medical Board of Ohio.
