BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN III – CERTIFIED
 

HOURS:
Full-time, day shifts, 7:00AM-3:30PM. 
 

POSITION SUMMARY:
BMET Techs perform a wide variety of technical tasks associated with the installation, preventive maintenance, service, and calibration of Medical Equipment with a high degree of sophistication and specialization. Equipment included, but not limited to, are surgical, diagnostic imaging, cardiology devices/systems, client server systems and computer technology.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Two (2) year degree in Electronic/Computer Technology or Biomedical Engineering required.

Required length of experience:
Five (5) years of recent experience in the field of clinical or biomedical engineering equipment maintenance and support required.

Required licensure, certification, or registry:
At least one (1) of the following certifications required: AAMI CBET, CRES, CLES; CompTia A+, Net+; Cisco CCENT, CCNA.
